Gear boxes contain the elements necessary to ignite the discharge lamp: capacitors, ballast and ignitor as needed. The ballast is cast in resin in order to ensure optimal insulation from the surrounding environment.

The boxes are IP40 for indoor applications or IP67 for direct outdoor use.

Power supply units on plate are pre-wired, so to facilitate realisation of power supply panels.
